Our story
from a dream
to a family.
AVIVA was born from a dream of seeing Tenerife come back to life in Christ. What started as a small group of people hungry for God has become a growing community that gathers every week in Santa Cruz to worship, listen to the Word and serve one another.
We believe God is still at work in these islands. And that every person —whatever they are going through, wherever they come from— can have a real encounter with Him. That is why we exist: to walk that journey alongside you.

Our faith rests on the central truths of the Christian faith, handed down in the Bible and shared by the universal church throughout the centuries.
God
Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in one eternal God, creator and sustainer of all things, who reveals Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Fully God, fully man
Jesus is the incarnate Son of God. He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose again on the third day and lives forever.
The Bible
The inspired and authoritative Word
The Scriptures are the inspired Word of God. They are our final authority in doctrine and conduct.
Salvation
By grace, through faith
Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by human works.
The Church
The body of Christ on earth
The church is the community of the redeemed, called to worship, build one another up and take the gospel to the world.
Hope
Christ is coming again
We await the visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and eternal life with Him.

David Cobos and Derwills Pacheco are the lead pastors of AVIVA Comunidad de Fe. They ground their ministry in the daily service of an ever-growing number of people who come to the church, thirsty for God's love and peace in their lives.

Passionate about a church where the Word is lived out with authenticity and purpose. David serves by teaching, raising up leaders and walking alongside the AVIVA family at every stage of their growth.
Derwills Pacheco
Called to make disciples who transform the world around them through a real encounter with Jesus. Derwills leads with warmth, biblical clarity and a pastor's heart for the new generations.
